My Approach to Therapy

The majority of my practice focuses on supporting adult-aged individuals through the process of deepening self-knowledge, increasing self-compassion, and healing from complex relational trauma. I have a passion for working with deep thinkers and highly sensitive persons who are struggling with chronic anxiety & depression, perfectionism, imposter syndrome, self-doubt, burnout, and relationship difficulties.

I work to facilitate new experiences that allow you to fully release the guilt and shame you’ve been carrying all by yourself. I want you to experience the freedom and aliveness that comes with unapologetically expressing the wonderful traits that make you – uniquely, “YOU.”

 

The first thing I do is really prioritize building our therapeutic alliance so that we have a strong foundation to do meaningful work together. I’ll check in from time to time to encourage you to let me know how you’re experiencing our relationship, because it’s very important to me that you’re able to feel a deep sense of safety and comfort with expressing your authentic experience in each session.

 

We’ll work as a team to track your moment-to-moment experience, by focusing on your breath, physical sensations, and emotions—which equips you with skills of mindfulness and self-compassion, while also kickstarting your innate drive toward healing.

It's my aim as your therapist to be fully-present with you, warm, understanding, and engaged throughout our work together. My approach to therapy integrates a range of attachment-based, experiential, and trauma-focused modalities including:

  • Dynamic-Enriched Experiential Psychotherapy (DEEP

  • Accelerated Experiential Dynamic Psychotherapy (AEDP)

  • Internal Family Systems (IFS)

I am passionate about helping my clients foster the healing qualities of self-compassion and self-leadership. It is my sincere hope to facilitate space where you can come to trust your inner wisdom again and ultimately go on to live a flourishing life.
